Q. Is this where I can find out everything I could ever want to know about The Dictionary Hostel?
A. Yes, indeed !
Q. What is a hostel?
A. Our hostels provide budget and sociable accommodation where you can rent a private single room with a flat-screen TV, desk and chair, wardrobe and independent heating. You will also share bathroom, social room / kitchen.
Q. Do you have single / twin / double rooms?
A. Sorry, all our rooms at present are single with shared bathrooms and social areas/kitchens on each floor.
Q. Are the bathrooms mixed or single sex?
A. Yes, the bathrooms are mixed.
Q. Is breakfast included?
A. We offer breakfast boxes which are available as an extra for £5.99 when you book. If this is not suitable please ask the manager on arrival for some local recommendations. A 1.5l bottle of water can also be provided as an extra and placed in your room before check in.
Q.Is there a curfew?
A.There is no curfew. You are able to come and go at any time. But please respect other guests.
Q. Can I have friends / family visiting me ?
A. Yes, during the daytime it is up to the discretion of the manager on how many people you can have visit, during the evening only one is allowed. They are not allowed to stay over night, if they are found to do so you will be charged an additional nights rate.
